This course gives our students the chance to explore a wide variety of media and techniques for dimensional collage work. The teacher guides them in collecting and combining traditional art and craft media, found objects, text, graphic design and photography elements, and much more. Students focus on message, intent, material choice and composition and experiment with many types of materials and forms.

Spotlight Fine Arts students use the spacious and sunlight art studios that Salem students use during the school year. They also have the opportunity to visit the on-campus galleries and exhibit spaces as well as nearby museums and artist workshops.

Each session culminates in our Summer Gallery Exhibition, a student-curated event showcasing the
best of each girl’s work. It is a fun evening for everyone, as all students are invited to attend the gallery show. Summer Gallery provides an opportunity for the students to display their talent and
hard work with a professional touch.
